We came here for brunch (115chf/adult). Beautiful location! Brunch not bad, but definitely not worth the money at all. Very average food. There was no bread, only dry rolls, there were no eggs, very poor selection of desserts & actually of everything…Service ok. But there were no knives for cheeses & warm food started cooking only at 12.
Small boutique hotel, 7 rooms, with the same service as a large hotel. Great location. Very accomodating for our needs. Small fridge in the room too. You can skip the elevator and use the large center staircase for easy access. As a guest we spent Saturday afternoon sitting on the promenade overlooking the park and enjoying our books. Restaurant is run by common mgmt and took care of our travel food to accommodate our dietary needs.
Of note, we looked at 4 other hotels in the city, within our budget and this see def gets the best review
Thank you Oscar!
P.S. google maps is being updated, the entrance is not from the side. Follow directions to the Private Tennis Club in the park and the hotel is right there.
We were invited for a lunch. Therefore, I cannot comment about rooms. However, rest was awesome. When you enter from the gates, you will find yourself in 18th century elegant atmosphere.
This is a review of the restaurant. The food was incredibly bland with prices you'd expect at a Michelin rated restaurant. The brebis cheese at 22 CHF was basic with a tasteless sauce and what looked like day old bread. The perche at 49 CHF was equally tasteless. The view is amazing.
Restaurant is sublime!!! Centre of the universe! We we there on a sunny day on our way from Monaco to Cologny.
If you like a relaxing surrounding this is the place to be. Terrasse with views over park towards the lake.
The three stars are for the service and the view. We came for coffee and desserts, and the selection of the menu was limited, nothing special.
Took the M3 boat from Geneva to the other side and had a nice walk to the park and hotel. Located high on the hill, the vista from the restaurant was stunning. The staff were very receptive and offered me a perfect table. Lunch options …
